The Woman's Ministry at TCCOG is dedicated to supporting woman's spiritual growth
and development. This is accomplished through biblical teaching, practice of prayer,
and the encouraging of both individuals and group devotions daily. The ministry offers a
safe, healthy and welcoming environment that fosters self-confidence, nurturing and
unity. Here, every woman learns godly life principles to apply in their homes, church,
community, and wherever God leads her. The ministry embraces the establishing and
equipping of each woman's God-given gifts, skills and talents and fosters an
environment that allows development and maturity. Women of all ages, including young
women, are provided with guidance and training to help them make informed, healthy
choices that benefit both their own lives and society. The program also motivates
participation to mentor others and to support personal growth.
At TCCOG, the Woman's ministry embraces 3 fundamental practices that are core
requirements in the body of Christ. These are the continuous employment of prayers,
studying of the world and the fostering of unity. The daily practice of prayer is
invaluable. We are committed to intercede for each other through daily encouragement,
weekly prayer meetings, and monthly prayer meetings, that also include sessions for
the youth and children. The studying of the world is essential for the productive
knowledge of Christ and the equipping to overcome as victors during our daily
struggles. Lastly, to fulfill our key role of facilitating fellowship and supporting the
Church's mission, we promote a unified bond as sisters, facilitating a oneness in Christ
and the Kingdom of God. The quarterly socials facilitates interactions that provide a
friendly atmosphere and that build solid relationships with each other. Our yearly
woman's retreat allows time away from home and work, to encourage rest, spiritual
renewal and restoration. The adherence to the necessary instruction to “keep paying
attention to one another, in order to spur each other on to love and good deeds”.
(Hebrews 10:24).
The woman's ministry is a nurturing ministry, one that serves with love as required by
Galatians 5 verse 13. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this thou shalt love
thy neighbor. As thyself. The Woman's Ministry coordinates support services, including
the distribution of care packages to the needy, the visiting of the sick, and shortens the
loving support of the elderly and to local and international ministry groups and
organizations. TCCCOG Woman's Ministry serves as a loving model in every woman's
life, home, church and community.
